Is INET BFA’s fibre access a contracted service?
Yes, a minimum of a 2 year commitment is required.
How will I be billed for hosting services?
INET BFA will only bill clients for the resources that have been used within the billing period. Resources include any RAM, Storage, Licensing hours and Traffic used by servers in any of your projects.
How do I choose monthly or hourly billing?
All servers automatically get billed per hour and charged at month end. If a server is powered on for an entire month, then the cost will equal the monthly charge.
How can I choose to pay?
INET BFA offer Debit order facility for monthly payments. We do not currently support EFT payments.
Do I have to use Telkom as my line provider?
No, you can move your line into INET BFA Wholesale Account and we will report your line to Telkom for you as well as provide you with updates on the fault
What is the difference between Peak and Off Peak Usage?
Peak Time is between 06:00 – 18:00 from Monday to Friday and Off Peak Time is between 18:00 – 06:00 from Monday to Friday, as well as weekends
Will I have unlimited access to update and make changes to my pages through INET BFA’s web hosting solutions?
You have unlimited access via FTP and the Web-based File Manager 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. As such, you can create and maintain your Web pages on your own computer and upload files to your website at your leisure.
What is VoIP?
VoIP is an acronym for Voice Over Internet Protocol, or in more common terms phone service over the Internet. If you have a reasonable quality Internet connection you can get phone service delivered through your Internet connection instead of from your local phone company.
What do I do if I am experiencing bad call quality?
Contact the INET BFA HelpDesk and we will assist accordingly. Try to have all relevant information ready, as it will help to expedite the resolution of the issue experienced.
Where can I view monthly Itemised Billing for VoIP?
Log into the Customer Zone from your INET BFA account and you will be able to view various reports for your Voice/VoIP products.
Can I port any number to INET BFA VoIP?
Currently only geographic numbers (landline) can be ported to INET BFA. South African number porting regulations does not support the porting of non-geographic (cellular) numbers between operators.
