Quick Charts shows the intraday price movements for up to 2 selected instruments. Monitor your equity of choice in real-time and see how it compares to a selection of currencies and indices. The Quick Charts application will allow you to overlay intraday bids, offers, trades, closing prices and VWAPs to give you an even better view of market volatility. Not enough? Then analyse the intraday performance of your selection based on volume or percentage changed with the click of a button.
Keeping an eye on the ever changing foreign exchange market is made simple with our Cross Rates application. View 7 key exchange rates and the gold price against these currencies all in real time. The Cross Rates table covers crosses for the US Dollar, British Pound, South African Rand, Australian Dollar, Japanese Yen, Swiss Franc and the Euro.
Brokers’ research offers leading views on the latest company, market and economic trends by South Africa’s leading brokers and analysts who contribute their proprietary research to INET BFA. Detailed company and industry research pages can be viewed through the News application in INET Station. The search functionality in News allows you to search the full historical research database and find that old report you were looking for.
With real-time access to all the equity action on the market, Transactions gives you an in-depth view of prices received during the day giving an indication of where professional traders are focusing their attention. Drill in deeper and see a comprehensive report of all the trades and their volumes for the day.
Determining the full breadth and depth of a market is critical for investors. The easy-to-use Market Depth application displays all the bids, bid sizes, offers & offer sizes ranked by price and time in a real-time grid for all the available JSE listed equities. If it is volatility you’re after, Market Depth will help you find it.
View JSE indices, including the new subscription indices, as well as a breakdown of each index’s constituents with weightings and trading information as the JSE moves in real-time. On constituent level, the comprehensive but easy-to-use window displays the Code, Name, Spot, Close, Points change, Percentage change, Effect on index, Weight in index, PE and Market Cap to name a few.
The INET Reports application enables quick company analysis on detailed dividends and earnings reports. This allows subscribers to get the full picture of a company’s standing in a snap. Go one step further and you have a full list of which equities are currently trading under a cautionary flag. INET Reports will also allow subscribers to calculate their own basic total return based on purchase price, volume, holding period and whether you decided to reinvest the dividends.
INET BFA collects and aggregates equity and economic forecast information from South Africa’s top stockbrokers and securities firms. The Forecast Reports application allows the user to analyse both the broker & consensus forecasts on EPS, DPS and on recommendations over a specified time frame and generate meaningful reports.
The INET Station Watchlist is the epicentre for monitoring financial markets. Subscribers can monitor all the listed JSE equities, indices, bonds, derivatives as well as a selection of the major international markets. The dynamic display includes, but is not limited to, bids, offers, trades, closes, points changed, percentage changed and P/E ratios all with the click of a button.
Keep an eye on your investments with the intuitive portfolio application. Portfolio calculates the market and book value for a list of equities and shows the potential profit and loss associated to holding that group of shares all in real-time. Simply insert the code, number of shares bought and at what price, and the Portfolios application will do the rest.
Dynamic Data Links
By using dynamic data links, INET BFA allows flexible extraction from INET Station to Microsoft Excel in INET BFA’s I-connect module. All tradable and historic information can be easily linked to Excel.
INET Connect amplifies the power of all the data in INET Station. This Excel add-in allows a user to retrieve data from the INET BFA database and populate the relevant cells with real-time or historical data.Extracting market data, macroeconomic data or industry statistics into Excel will allow the subscriber to build complex and custom models. Analyse what you want, how you want and when you want.

Right click on the watchlist, click on ZOOM, this lists all the codes available. Select a code and right click on send
How is the PE calculated in the watchlist?
It uses the rolling Headline Earnings fully diluted – 6 months interim and 6 months final.
